Signing into Smart Pension
You’ll need to access Smart Pension to manage certain changes to your pension, like updating investments or adding a beneficiary.
Here’s how to get set up.
How do I sign in?

Open the Thrive app.

Go to your pension section.

Follow the link to Smart Pension.

Log in, or set your password if it’s your first time.

Follow the steps to access Smart Pension and set your password if it’s your first time logging in.
It only takes a few minutes to get set up.
Use the email address your employer shared
This part really matters.
You need to use the pre-filled email address shown on screen when setting up or signing in to Smart Pension.
That’s the email address your employer provided. It’s also the one Smart Pension has on record for you.
If your email isn’t pre-filled, use the one your employer set up for you.
Not sure what that is? Just check with your employer and they’ll let you know.
If you try to use a different email address, Smart Pension won’t be able to match your details. And you won’t be able to access your pension.
I haven’t set a password yet
If it’s your first time logging in, you’ll need to create a password through Smart Pension.
Just follow the on-screen steps. You’ll receive an email to confirm and set things up securely.
Make sure you’re using the pre-filled email address when you do.
